The hotspot box. I pulled the battery for awhile but still have no display. Gone again. Will check back in a bit.

do you have service without the display? if yes, don't worry and get it straightened out when you're back home. if no, try different locations to see if it needs a stronger signal to make the display work

That's why I like WIRES.

Wire from the keyboard and mouse to the PC.
To the router.
To the modem.
To my provider.
And back again.

None of this "air" fol de rol.

What do you think all these signals floating through the air are doing to us? It canNOT be healthy. It's way beyond the 3 TV channels and AM radio of years ago. Maybe that's why everybody is so ed up!!!

that might be the time you have to turn it in if you change your mind and want to back out - exchange should be way more lenient

also, once you get home you can try a hard reset. check your manual for details

It should have at least a 90 day warranty, Fran. If the display is fried (IDK if it is or not) they should replace it. Get an RMA number and receipt.

Lots of times, if electronics fail they fail right away (if that's what's going on).

Or it's a setting....to save on battery.

Maybe if you tell us the make and model, we can help you look it up without your burning up your bandwidth.
