Just canceled financial advisor meeting for this morning... road conditions REALLY suck. But I gave the option of doing it by phone... waiting to hear.

Now out to start clearing the driveway... yet again. And get the trash out to the curb.

Local weather says the two recent cold blasts will pale to the one heading here over the rest of today and tomorrow. I am ready for a strait jacket. Schools on delay for this AM and giving warning for possible cancellation tomorrow.

So y'all remember that i was all worried about the semi-ferals across the street? I haven't seen much of the true ferals recently, but the semi ferals have been as regular clockwork for breakfast. Turns out that semi ferals are lying calico kitties. They belong to my neighbor and have been slumming for extra breakfasts

I can do the soldering for you. But, on 2nd thought, by the time you pay postage two ways, you may as well just buy a $20.00 soldering iron and some solder (so maybe $30.00 ish for materials) and learn to solder it yourself. It's easy. I'll teach you and/or there's tons of how-tos on the net.

EDIT: Get lead free solder and maybe some flux.

I did consider that Atty, but here's the thing...if I buy one DNA set up, and use it as my first mod experiment and then fry it by trying to solder it I will go in the corner and cry like a baby for a long long time because I'm delicate like that. I have watched some videos and read some information online about soldering, but I suspect the people who have made said videos are so adept at that particular task that they make it look much much easier than it really would be for this noob dummy

Yeah, that is the plan. Learn and practice.

The problem is that everything else keeps getting in the way. I will make time one day, just not in time to get the Tibs 2 Plug N Play model . In reality, I would really prefer something smaller like Bap's sidewinder style creation but that would require far more modding skillzzz than I currently possess.

....but you guys don't really mind if I drool and complain, right??
