not looking good - but the power is on so no complaints ;)

Is it snowing and how much? I talked to my brother in western Carolina and it's been snowing since this morning. At 4pm he said they only had 4 inches of very wet snow. The temperature been around 34 degrees. Funny part about that area is that if you go to the other side of the mountain you could have 2 feet. The worst snowstorm I have ever been in was in that area back in '93. We had about 4 feet of snow with winds up to 50 miles an hour. Snowdrifts of 10 feet+. We had no electricity for 5 days... fortunately, he had a woodstove that not only kept us warm but we used it to cook on. My sil was lucky because she went to florida the day before.

hiya, classy! yup - tornado reported somewhere in florida and someone in raleigh must have revved the engine a tad too much ;)

has to be 7'' already for sure and the worst is yet to come and guess who's falling in that privileged territory outlined by nws? ;)
