Yes, I'd agree...when it snows in the deep south more than once I'd say it becomes a "banner" year...

Yep. We're at 3" from this evening's snow, giving us a total of 5" for this winter. Not much, except when you compare it to the annual average of <2", or the 6 year period where we had no measurable snow at all.

Remember a half inch here is equivalent to about 6" there in terms of impact.
But, heck yeah, there's a reason i live this far south. A childhood in michigan cured me of ever wanting to live in a place that has actual snow.
