It's too bad Tibby didn't know ahead of time ... she could have had you check on Geoff for her since your socks were already soaked!!!

And how do they get away with calling them waterproof if your socks get wet????

I think 2 things happened...one, snow getting pushed up over the top of the boots and two, I've had them for awhile. They might be at the end of their "waterproof" life. The grip is still top notch, though

Yep, crazy weather ... didn't get above freezing yesterday, today mid 40's and full sun, next week mid 60's!

If you were referring to the recipe, the one we use does not have milk, parsley, cayenne or salt and pepper. But, we DO use sugar and grated parmesan in the egg mixture. (Substitute bouillon for broth/stock.) I also double the sauce portions for extra to put over pasta with even more grated parm.

As far as "french" being a "Rochester thing", not sure I'm sold on that.
