The kin is all over the place...VA,GA, NC, DE, etc I didn't book the "loop" this time that I usually take to visit everyone. This trip is a single stop in DE

I went shopping for the horses today, but no sweet feed involved...it's been ages since I've been to Southern States. I forgot how different a shopping experience it is from my more urban stores

I'm cooking dinner tonight in a real kitchen (mine is the size of one of your closets, I bet). We're having pork chops with apple/mango chutney sauce and polenta with edamame and a hearty salad.

Hi snails.
Flyby.

1) Cousin wheels errands (plus he bought most of lunch). Done.
2) Go to GF's and roof-rake a bit (camper/trailer front 1/2 that I can reach...and front side of house. They do the back. Borrowed rake. Done.
3) Got home and ate. Done.
4) Get Fido outside to potty/poopy. Done.

Too exhausted for 5) Roof rake this house.



I may not need to anyway. But Still thinking about it. I only have about 45 min to an hour to "think" though. Sigh.

We're getting 1/2 to 3/4 inch rain tomorrow.

... When anyone stops with food, there must be at least 100 of them that come out of hiding... all quacking and honking and trying to rip the feed container out of your hands!!!

They were out today in numbers I have never seen there before. The piddling 3 pounds of cracked corn did not get to all of them. Ravenous. Some followed me back to the car as if asking "where's ours?". I may go back tomorrow "just cuz" with the 10 pounds I bought today. And I'll take some pics!
