Hey Stone:

It's funny. Most of the cast iron vids on the net are from guys. I guess it's "OK" for guys to deal with cast iron. 1) It's heavy, 2) It's "outdoorsy" survivalist/camper stuff 3) It takes muscle to lug it around and keep it seasoned properly and/or re-season it.

That's not to say the gals can't do it. But it seems like most of the vids are from guys. Cultural thing...maybe "cowboy/chuck wagon" kinda stuff?

Anyway...sorry to hear you didn't get dibs on em. The old cast iron is highly collectable. If it ever comes up, and you find out that they let em rust or something...just say "WOW! What a mess! All rusty! " and then "I'll take em off your hands if you want." They can be reconditioned.

I already bought some of my own and seasoned them They probably aren't as good as grandmother's though....

yeah, whatever. the nexus 7.2 is a superior tablet and I know it, which means I would have been able to help you navigate any problems. but noooooooooooooooo, you had to go cheap and now you have to deal with the headaches. You should have listened to Dr. Pepper.
