yeah, whatever. the nexus 7.2 is a superior tablet and I know it, which means I would have been able to help you navigate any problems. but noooooooooooooooo, you had to go cheap and now you have to deal with the headaches. You should have listened to Dr. Pepper.;)
A friend of mine just bought a Nexus 7...I played with it a bit, but it seemed heavy....but I suppose that could have been due to her fancy cover as well.

.....and congrats on the condo :thumb:

the nexus 7.2 is one of the lightest, if not the lightest, tablets on the market; and for the price with 32gb of memory, they can't be beat. IMHO.:)

Send your friend my condolences. The one I've been dealing with - on loan - bites big donkey prong. (ETA: No disrespect to our buddy Geoff.)

I'm fairly certain we will settle on a laptop/tablet hybrid so it can also serve as a streaming device once we dump DISH... which WILL be this year at some point. And with a detachable screen (no smaller than 10") I'll still have the opportunity to discover the "big draw" to small devices. I'm still at a loss to the attraction, completely.

I thought the Nexus was supposed to be light...it must've been the super fancy cover that added the extra weight. It felt like it weighed half as much as my laptop. At that weight, I'd rather carry around my laptop

I've been considering a hybrid device as well...something where the screen detaches to become a tablet. The problem that I see with them so far is that they are underpowered for the money. It might be next year before I buy anything in that category. My laptop works great for now.
