Fido and I have been back and forth to the vet. Busy morning/afternoon over. Now time to think about dinner.

Picked up some spare evod heads and a small bottle of pre-mixed juice. 5 heads for 10 bucks-ish. Not bad, I don't think. Is that about normal? Not bad for B&M. I'd probably pay that much anyway with shipping.

Talking about dentists. I missed my last cleaning by about 5 months and decided I needed to get this done. I called the office and they had an opening for tomorrow morning. I asked her what the price would be because I pay in cash.. don't like surprises. She quoted a price for the cleaning and x-ray of $157. Great, it was $180 last time. She calls me back 15mins later and leaves a message on voicemail and says she didn't include the x-ray in the quote, even though we discussed it, and said the price would be $232. Anybody else paying these prices for a checkup and xray? I really like this dentist and they have all of the top/modern equipment, but I have a Chevrolet checkbook and they're charging Ferrari prices.

pepper - i pay $145.00 per cleaning now but it is done by a periodontist and considered a deep cleaning. the few times i tried a regular cleaning through a hygienist - which was covered by the insurance - it was a waste

my dentist is also a periodontist, but of course, he's not doing the cleaning... it's a hygienist that works for him. too bz to find another dentist/periodontist... but I may for my next cleaning in 6 months. I've never gone to a better dentist and the staff is top notch with top notch equipment... my problem, like I said, is that I'm on a Chevrolet budget and they're charging Ferrari prices. I guess if I cut out my trips to florida for 2 months, vegas, South Africa, and the irish pub and like, I could afford the damn dentist.

I guess I got the updates from ms. On my startup bar it showed updates and to restart my computer. I did... and it went thru the process of updating. IDK? is that what you were talking about, atty?

Tibs...reboot a few times. If that doesn't work, try safe mode boot and then disable the screen saver (for starters). There's probably a logged boot process too. It's been a while since I had to safe-boot an XP box.

LOL. I knew it. I knew it. There she goes making it more difficult than it has to be. It was so easy... all I had to do was restart my computer. Done! And then there is the Tibby.
