lol, bear - as to your 'sleep' provider, run a test for me. i really don't think anybody looks at that mountain of paperwork you're supposed to fill out and bring to your appointment. i have started to mark questions with n/a that i don't think are any of their business and so far nobody ever checked back. fill yours out that way and see what happens ;)

You do not want to know the question they asked "if female".

No, I just STOPPED on Page 5. They will need to ask me those questions and all the rest IN VOICE if they want an answer. 18 pages of questions and permissions... do people entering cancer treatment even get that many??? We're only talking about sleep apnea here.

I even have a problem with my MD/PCP asking rather personal questions during a physical since I do not understand how they relate to my overall health. The same two questions I mentioned earlier and even more graphic ones. Volume? Velocity??? REALLY!!! Why???... so you can get me on some medication that has untold side effects and pay for your vacation at a conference??? Nope. Not going there. You wanna find out?... have at it. I'm happy with what I have, thank you. Let's move on.

I did mention the questions on the pre-physical form, right?
Do I own a gun?
Does the house have smoke detectors?
Do I wear a seat belt?

Yeah. I used to have that issue with several seniors. One a neighbor...who would call on occasion when things got messed up. She's passed away now, but I know how that goes. I can solve those issues on the phone about 50% of the time.

My mom, OTOH, does pretty good (82). Sometimes she has to play around a bit, but mostly she's fine.

Too many inputs and outputs on things...get's em all messed up. A "reset to a known standard" for all devices would help a lot. (TV to input #1 or whatever, cable box on, dvd, cd, dvr, roku, and whatever off).

I think it's time to just network everything. Place it anywhere. WiFi or better. 0 or 1 cable to everything (other than power). No more multi-inputs on TV. Just a network in. TV acts as one possible central controller. Cable companies would hate that. You could have one box and multiple TV's. lol. (but only one active channel per box, probably.)

Hi Fran.

Tell em to shove it Bear. Cite "Paperwork reduction and heathcare cost savings".

There is more paperwork now than ever.

On top of that, they all have laptops surgically attached and EVERYTHING has to be typed in manually. It gets worse every visit, really and seriously.

Oh... cake is WONDERFULLY DELICIOUS!!! :) I probably will not sleep tonight from all the caffeine.

Hello Snails :) I hope everyone has a good weekend
I wish I could hang out with you fun folks instead of working :D The show set up is going well, and most of the people have been fantastically nice so far (that makes a huge difference doing what I do, and we don't always get a "good" group). So there's that, but it's still cold outside
....
Now out to neaten up the driveway.

Hmmmm... I should wrap gift first, and put it on "his" sofa... just in case I keel over in the driveway.

.....

So... the super-ultra-mega-grocery-world-universe-palooza-fest-athon rocked my day!!!

Happy Bear.
Happy Bear didn't stick around for too long
stuck at 35 but miss daisy is having a ball digging for moles! ;)
That sounds hilarious. Those moles aren't frozen/hibernating???
