Back from anni-dinner out.
You know what... just about ALL restaurant table-based socialization and conversation and interaction is GONE. Even at relatively upscale places. Almost EVERYBODY has their face pointed downward, looking at their phone, tablet, what-have you... rather than facing forward, making eye contact and ACTUALLY TALKING
WITH THE PEOPLE AT THEIR TABLE. What SAD BOORS. It's a pitiful commentary how most people have DEVOLVED.
They walk in faces pointed down and looking at their technology... they are walked to their table by waitstaff while in the same position as they walked in... and they sit at the table still assuming that position. One person muttered something, which I'm pretty sure was "I'm looking at the menu online" (rather than actually picking UP a physical menu). Time to order and do not even LOOK at the server. These are - for want of a better term - ADULTS. And that is how they spend their entire dinner. Come time to eat, it's one hand holding their

ing phone and the other holding a fork.
What the

is WRONG with people??? What ...
HOLES.
