There are certain fundamentalist groups demanding "equal time" to counter the evolution thing.

How often do you see scientists barge into Churches and demand "equal time" to counter the literal interpretation of some sermon?

I find the whole thing funny, because it's a science show. It's doubly funny that it's on FOX. Some of whose affiliates have had "mysterious problems" during some parts of the show.

Just a bit of "tonight on TV trivia". Not trying to debate it one way or the other. But it's in the news and it's rather funny. Carry on....

Hi Stone. They going to make "opening night"? (I'm sure they will with you helping.)
It's guaranteed with Lincoln Center...they have subscribers :D That's a new one for me, I'm used to the possibility of a show tanking before it even opens

For those of us (Tibs) not sleeping/working through it, the next installment of "Cosmos" airs tonight.
I've missed them so far, I figure I'll wait and watch them online...so no spoilers, please :)

I heard about the "equal time" demand . . . .   It's ridiculous, IMO. My recommendation for them is to make their own series, especially since they built their own museum.

Yeah. Well, there's one science channel. OK, maybe a few educational channels and PBS too.

Then there's 1000 religious ones.

Not a single scientist has demanded time on the religious channels that I know of. They may have been invited or whatever, but I don't know of organized demands.

It's all crazy.

Just a bit of TV science gossip.
