We had an earthquake this morning around 2am It was freaky and cool at the same time! It was a 4.3 south east of us about 47 miles.
don't send that stuff any further east! that's something you can keep for sure!![]()
Coooool! (assuming no damage)
Bet that scared ya! 4.3....
Quakes make me nervous.
I don't think we will get anything bigger than a 4.5......that's the biggest we have had in the last year, there have only been 3 that we felt.I've only ever been in itty-bitty quakes. The kind only 50% of people even notice is happening. Slight sway.
I missed a bigger kind the last time I flew out of visiting CA heading back East. Quake 45 minutes after I (we) took off in the plane. Missed it by "" much.
Fine.....LOL
No damage, not scared it was just weird to fell the bed vibrating....I don't think we will get anything bigger than a 4.5......that's the biggest we have had in the last year, there have only been 3 that we felt.
Night, sweet dreams
I don't know that I would have even noticed it if the tv or radio had been on. We are so used to the windows rattling because of the wind we don't even pay attention, the wind was not blowing yesterday at all. Today we had gust up to 40mph!
Yeah, who needs quarters and motel rooms when ya got that?![]()
(Tibs is gone, no fry-pan available)
To bad it only lasted about 15 seconds
What freaks me out is ICE BOOMS. I'm on a small lake. When it's real cold and making ice quickly, it's a sub-sonic or just-barely-sonic boom. Like a real close clap of thunder. Also the deck does that too sometimes in the snow freeze/thaw. Old house. Creaky.
why is it that some posts show up later than others even if posted earlier![]()
