Hi Starlyte, nice to meet you. This destructive weather that's going on has been going on since the dawn of time; and if by chance we did anything to the climate, for sure as heck there will be nothing we can do about it. Just my 2 cents.:D Yeah, I know, I couldn't help myself.

I guess, unfortunately, you're right, what's done is done. But it bugs me that we shouldn't eat anything that grows here: garden products, wild thyme and mushrooms, etc.
Let's say, with the ozone holes, people wearing masks to protect them from the CO(²?) their cars have made, the radioactivity at least on high mountain regions here, up to Chernobyl, and generally every where, we've done what the sun and cosmic winds do over countless years, in around a century, which I find really sad. I know we can't, and most of all WON"T do anything about it. It's a bit like vape banning, a question of money...and quite a lot of time, too. We're really irrespective as far as our home goes.

Apart from that, here we're enjoying sun and nearly 30°C. Hope you're all getting the same sort of sunny times. For my PC addiction, it's a bit better than it was, although I've an ecran lined up... But what I spend on hardware I saved, over the years, with Linux, not to mention the fun I have with it :D It's so reliable, virus free, and my Linux is Puppy Linux, a real winner, and safe as houses ;)

By for now, all the Snails.

Unlike Fall Clean-Up which is measured in terms of "bags", Spring Clean-Up is measured in terms of "hours".

"Clean-Up" is just that... gathering up all unwanted yard schmutz via raking and disposing. "Garden Prep" and "Lawn Repair" are separate tasks unrelated to "Clean-Up".

Average Fall Clean-Up = 45-50 bags.

Average Spring Clean-Up = 36-40 hours.

Currently at 8.5 hours.

Those wacky birds! There was a male blackbird-like specimen out there dancing and hopping and bobbing its head with wings and beak wide open and tail-feathers all splayed like a peacock... trying to entice a female. She wanted NOTHING to do with him. But he was persistent. Apparently she already has a mate with an even BIGGER tailfeather waiting for her back at the nest because she just flounced and then flew away.
