Did some digging out back today. In a t-shirt even. I found the distribution box to the septic system and the cover is indeed broke. However we wouldn't have had a problem if the pipe to it didn't freeze. It's still froze cause I can see the ice inside. The ground is no longer froze to where the pipe is so it should thaw before long.

It's only about 4-5 feet of pipe with ice. Should thaw fairly quickly now that the ground has thawed. Then we have to deal with the box but at least we know the problem now.
