I wonder what kind of filters places like Starbucks uses for their brewed coffee. The fall-back coffee maker uses paper ones and I've noticed a marked decrease in the strength. The resulting brew is VERY clear (dark, but clear... you know) as opposed to the "gold tone" filter from the melt-down unit. May have to get one that fits the Melitta.

I know what Starbucks SELLS... but it may be different than what they actually USE.

You know... the one where the OP set the RULES for the thread. Like the previous one with RULES and people did not follow THE RULE so he went BAWWWW and had the thread closed (ie: flounce).
I'm pretty good at avoiding starbucks. Have been since they opened a location next door to a locally owned coffee place. On the bright side, the locals supported the local place and that particular starbucks didn't last. The local place is still there and going strong
Guess I'd better start the day too. Errands again (with cousin-wheels this time).
