Contrary to public opinion pressure treated wood does rot. I'm afraid we'll be replacing alot.

If it makes you feel any better, iron fences rot too. I'm afraid to call the fence guy... Our fence is very long.
That's a good thing. However, it's not a filesystem integrity check. It doesn't know about the file system (NTFS or Fat32 or whatever). It's using SMART data for sector failure (bad writes and stuff). So that's good that it says no problems. But it's not everything.
chkdsk probably won't fix your problem. But it's the 1st step before you do more.

Like I said. System restore messes stuff up 1/2 the time. Particularly in XP.....
