Good morning y'all

I could see that view if I'd gotten off my .... and walked a short distance before sunrise, rather than sitting at the kitchen table with my coffee

I had hopes for ya CES!
Guess we all missed out then. Except....maybe Pepper....but he's MIA so we miss out on that info too.

We get to settle for pixels instead. On the "bright side" (pun)...we don't have to be awake or hit the shower yet.

i don't have to do either of those things before going for a walk...but, somehow i'm still sitting at the kitchen table

we got the truck unloaded and the lab partially set up yesterday. The students have had their first lectures, and started work on a computer assignment and all the reading they have to do. Today is more set up and starting the first labs after lecture.

i rather do my sitting around later on - temps are supposed to reach the mid-90s

breezeway cleaning on the agenda - the boy put up the last 3 replacement lights for me dirt dobbers won't stand a chance this year, at least not in that location!
unfortunately, there is now 1 bat looking for a new home also ........................

i got a cupola but apparently that was not as attractive as the recessed can light

only one bat? maybe it can find some buddies now that it has to relocate.

yup - only one in there and that one was sound asleep no harm was done - we watched it fly off after a short recuperation period on one of my shelves

Well, speaking of critters that eat a lot (of bugs, in a bat's case)...

It's rainy and barely 60°F

It's been beautiful except for the first 2 days I got here. Arrived May 1, and checked in and went grocery shopping. Friday & Sat (may 2 & 3) it rained cats & dogs. I mainly sat in the condo and watched sports and drank beer (and saw some family). Since, it has been beautiful with temperatures ranging from 85-93 degrees. The surf has been crystal clear with mainly gently rolling waves that break at the shore. I forgot my camera but I do have my tablet that can take pictures. Here's a couple pic's of my place.

family room tv. How nice to have a new 55 inch flat screen tv. To the right of the tv is the master suite and top left is the guest suite. There is also a 46 inch flat screen tv in the master suite, but no biggie, because I never watch tv in bed.


Here's a couple pic's of my refrigerator. Some prime steaks (and they were wonderful) and some other necessities.



I pretty much have the same schedule here as I do at home. To the gym first thing in the morning and then to the beach for the rest of the day. Well, I don't walk out to the beach at home, but I do go to the gym.

I'll try to get some pictures of the beach later.
