Hmmm, quite a few newcomers, so to speak, since this thread originally started. Wonderful to see it continue on in true SNAIL style. I also see you have to still beware of the Hamsters, with Jerry being their leader. You must always keep an eye on him. He will swipe a snail at the drop of a hat, and you will soon find yourself spinning around his wheel, to his delight. STAY ALERT!!! And Hello to ALL the wonderful snails who have kept this going all these years. I am honored.

I just got a nice new wireless epson printer (scanner, copier) from amazon- $60... with lots of bells and whistles (i figure the ink is gonna cost an arm and a leg)

Congratulations, CES! Yup, the ink is ridiculously expensive. Which one did you get? I have an old HP--might consider an upgrade at some point.
