both worthy endeavors. I got the house cleaned yesterday afternoon (including spider reduction in the front room- bunches of teensy baby spiders decided to hatch there. ick) so there could be some weeding and cutting back of overgrown plants and vines if i have any excess energy.

heading back out to clean the pond filter - trying to stay busy, though going

He only does the lawn, Tibs. He does that well. I've had him cut back overgrowth a time or two, but he doesn't always do a good job (and he's got that southern 'don't you worry, missy' thing going, so he's not someone who is easy to direct).

I just finished cutting back the spent daisies, and moved a couple of hostas. Walk is next.

Staying busy is probably the best you can do, Tibs.

I hope you get a chance to Daisy a special bit of attention today too Tibs. They get depressed just like we do.
Can take a few days for em to realize what's up. Hope she does OK too.

not anymore, frannie but i freeze raspberries if there are enough

Strawberries don't freeze well? Nice fresh ones just coming out here.
