Yesterday afternoon, the weather underground weather station closest to my house was posting a temp of 98 with a heat index of 111. 
It may have been an error, that station usually runs a few degrees cooler than downtown. The downtown and airport stations were reading 92 with 98 degree heat indices. It's kinda moot, since i was sitting at my desk with a jacket on.

Yep... 102+ "feels like" index. Plus the chance for damaging wind and hail some time after noon. So, it was even more of a good idea to postpone landscaper visit.
