Fran, avoiding pictures while on the hot spot is a good idea- at least until you get a sense of how much data you use. All the animated ads and vieos on regular webpages will also use up your data

Just a quick check-in, then off to Dad's place. He's getting the carpal tunnel snip-snip this morning (non-dominant hand). See, if it was me, I'd need IV sedation. He's just gonna sit there with local and watch the whole thing. I'd keel over.

PS: Yet again, yesterday's weather came within about 2-3 miles from the old homestead. My casino gal-pal came home from nannying and found her yard a mess (pic below). Just south, from west to east, there was a LOT of damage. Still 1000s of folks without power and much clean-up to do. So, lucked out a second time in just a few weeks.
She's lucky that tree did not fall on the house.
(She also found out who left that tacky birdbath thing in her yard. Wasn't me!!!)

They were wrong about MY immediate neck of the woods, yes. All that happened here was a soft and gentle Spring rain and breeze. But I suppose other folks got what was forecast. All in how you look at it, I suppose.
