as long as you can run on battery for more than an hour you're in good shape mine doesn't last 5 minutes any more

It was for over an hour. Just got brighter when I plugged it back in. Laptop is 5 years old but overall it hasn't been used a lot.

Literal rain. I had to take a rescue break this summer. I got overwhelmed from the last couple of years and just needed to get my house in order - literally.
we could use some literal rain, hopefully we'll get some tomorrow. I'm glad you're doing what you need to do to take care of yourself.
morning Tibs. i spent yesterday afternoon catching up on a couple of Nevada Barr books that i didn't realize that i missed.
today i have to de-fur the house, and there's a vape meet this afternoon. the meet will be especially cool, cause now that Deej is almost local, he and Sybil are coming to the meet

it's not like the house ever really gets clean- the best i can hope for is reduction of the free-floating fur for up to an hour or so
yep, Deej and his new bride live a couple of hours north of me now. you're not that far south- you should come up to one of our meets too
