He was a street pup when i found him, so hopefully he'll remember some of that (it's been about 12 years)

Lost/roaming pets always make their parents turn gelatinous with worry. If our one free-roaming cat is not seen for an hour, we get concerned.

I got a call from the vet. Someone had found a dog hit by a car on a road not too far from my house today. The finder moved it from the road and checked the tags. The tag number matched my beastie.
the dog that was removed from the road was not alive. 
I keep hoping that I'll find out it wasn't my dog...but unless there was a magical tag switch....
