it's in the mid-60's right now. nice and cool
I got the first coat of "restore" on my front porch yesterday evening. It's a concrete and deck restorer. Basically paint with a bunch of sand, so it's like trying to paint with mud. Not the most fun I've ever had on a Friday evening. But it it looks better than the 4 faded colors of peeling paint that were there before. The directions call for two coats...so I'll probably be out there again this afternoon- when it'll be 90 degrees.

I'm still trying to decide whether the porch really needs a second coat. heck, one coat required two gallons of the stuff.

But...but...it's under cover, and i could seal my deck with nice thin, easy spreading deck seal i already have, instead of buying another two gallons of thick, miserable mud to put on the front porch. I figure i could paint the second coat now, or a couple of years from now.
get your paint brush out and 2 more gallons of mud - it'll be all done before lunch!
