I may have asked this before... Maybe Tomcatt can answer:

How do heavy denim jeans turn COMPLETELY inside-out in the washer and/or dryer??? It's hard enough to do by hand when dry... but how does it happen when they are soaking wet? Both top-load and front-load washers. Or... they go inside out in the dryer. ??? I just do not get it at all.

It's the same dryer gremlins that selectively take a single sock from each load then sometimes put said sock back in a completely different load.

Dinner done here. Que came out great. Had almost a 1/2" smoke ring, brined well (not too salty) with good flavor and homemade coleslaw, garlic bread (purchased...I cheated) and homemade applesauce. Mmmmm....

Also today's errands with Mom done.

Watching blowhards (local and national) on the news talk about Syria. Dog and pony show for cameras. Hate that. The real stuff happened in the closed-door security sessions I'm sure.

not much luck here samples of pavers received by the store do not correspond with mine. while i might overlook a slight variation in color, 3/8'' less in width and length won't work when it's a repair .......... sigh.
then, to top off my day, the ceiling light in the utility room went on the blink and i had to rig up one of those do-hickeys contractors use to have at least some light in there till i can check the wiring in the light.
i'm ready to head upstairs already!

You just about cussed at me. You might as well... because you were thinking it in your mind.

I have to get up at 3:30am. I won't be able to fall asleep until at least 11pm... probably 12am. I always figure I'll be tired, but the city is like a big cup of coffee.

p.s. the flight leaves at 7:50. I need an hour when I get up to drink coffee and shower. then off to airport parking and one needs to be checked in 2 hours before the flight.
