If you've paid for the statue, Bear, request a refund ... on her FB page  :D

On 25jul13 I said to her: " I see you have been - and will be - quite busy with performances. If you would prefer to have this project taken off your plate, I'll understand."

To which she replied: "Sweetie! You're log is on my carving block as we speak! It will be done before I leave for Cleveland on the 6th [August]."

And I agreed.

Then she wrote on 31jul13: "I am not performing all the month of September where I can devote and concentrate on my art completely. That means you would get your carving by the second week of Sept. I know you have been waiting and I really appreciated your understanding email with removing your carving 'from my plate', but we are so close now. If you want your deposit returned I will have a check in the mail tomorrow. If you want to hang in there a little longer it will be worth the wait.

And I said I'd wait.

Then on 12sep13, I posted on her FB page (in reply to something else): "Hey Cherie! How goes the chainsaw carving??? (Nudge nudge, wink wink, poke poke! Signed... Me)" [under a FB alias and fictional avatar]

To which she replied: "I am starting tomorrow [alias name]. The darn heat (over 100) is killer for this gal. I am grateful that my clients have been so understanding with the touring. Now if it would cool down a bit!!"

Now she's posting carving pictures, and saying she's updating her chainsawchick.com website and soaking up all kinds of accolades and swooning about her carving talent... and I'm still without my product.

Hence my irritation.

I'm allowed, I believe.

Next refund offer will be accepted.

We're so close to October Bear, wait until Oct 1. That's the point where she breaks the "in September" promise. So...(legally?) it's more on her and looks like you're the more "reasonable" one.

If this ever went to court...

Just a guess.

Good luck with Cassie Tibby.

Good morning snails.

The log was "on the carving block" in JULY. She was "starting tomorrow" (12sep13).

Tibs is correct. Request to be sent today. Once check is received, I'll write back and mention the "last straw" irritation. Discreetly, not on FB.

I'm sure I can find a 4-footed carving locally, anyway!!!

Liking the Davide Mini. It's a smidge shorter than the ProTank Mini. No problems refilling with a normal dropper bottle. Pretty happy that Pandaecigs sent me a blue one too :D.

Strangely (?), I've been finding that, over the past month or two, I've begun to vape at lower wattage. The stock coil in the Davide Mini was around 2.1 ohms. Even dropping the voltage, I wasn't real happy with the taste. So I took the 2.6 ohm coil from the ProTank Mini (one I had recoiled) and put it in the Davide - happy since then.

"Pumpkin Spice".

http://vomit.poyt.com/thesaurus.htm

Arguing with the worms.
Barking at the ants.
The Call of the Walrus.
Laughing at the ground.

The "major grocery chain" near my Dad's place has started to deodorize the bottle return area with a vile mix of "dentyne" and assorted fall-themed potpourri. I now am forced to use the OTHER entrance to keep the bile from rising in the throat.

Thankfully, the one near us has constructed a separate enclosed area.

Oh. OK. Pumpkin spice too. Check.

So no pumpkin for Bear.
No pumpkin spice for Bear.

Sad really. For you vomit enthusiasts, the pumpkin spice in the dough could be omitted and just use the cinnamon in the filling. And if you omit the pumpkin (and substitute some more liquid to get the moisture content correct) you'd have regular cinnamon rolls.

The cheese has to be sharp. And it's great.

So are dates, figs, bananas. Raisins are OK in some things. Squash, I'd usually leave it too other than zucchini and yellow squash for stir-frys. And pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Pumpkin is OK. Seeds are good too.

I eat pumpkin pie a couple times a year...just for tradition, you understand. I'd rather have pecan. Or apple. Or cherry.
