oh. and....So, since i wasn't sure if there was something up with the fence that allowed the dog to come into the yard (the gates are locked), i didn't let the beasties out after i let random dog out a few hours ago. Turns out i was SO successful at getting back to sleep that i slept through one of the beasties ...... in bed. Woke up in a puddle. Eeeeewwwww! Starting laundry and cleaning before coffee was NOT what i expected for the day.
Oh, poor puppy... I mean, poor CES!

So, anyway...
...initial meeting with landscaper went well. Estimate came in well under my budget. I took a 3-hour (round trip) ride out to the hardscape business to look at material today. Treated myself to a QUAD-shot Starbuck latte for the ride home. I also thought of other tweaks to the project since there was $$$ to play with. I officially look forward to next April!

enjoying a Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. I hadn't had one for a year and it is as good as I remember. Just a slight note of pumpkin with a little bit of cinnamon & nutmeg. What makes this good over other pumpkin ales is that it is not sweet... it has a dry, slightly bitter aftertaste. Yep, the small things in life.
