So there was more excitement around here yesterday evening. An abandoned house down the street from me burned down. No one was injured and the house next to it was unscathed. But there sure were a lot of firetrucks and police cars.

any more sightings of the dog that got locked in your yard? somebody must have done that on purpose hoping you'd take it from there
No more dog sightings. I think that the dog did it itself- I found a region where the ground sloped slightly downhill going into the yard and the fence was loose enough at the bottom that it would have allowed an enterprising pup to scramble under to get in, but not get back out (it's fixed now) . I do have a name for him if he comes back- "random" 
let's not jinx it - usc is on the ball this am i could even watch some news videos!
