It says I already HAVE a UserID and password (given my name, address and zip code). I never - EVER - signed up for ANYTHING with them yet. And I see no "request UserID / password" button to reset anything.

bear, is it possible they imported data from the ny site you played around on?

But I did not create any account. If I did, I would have fired up my "password file" and entered any UserID, password, and answers to "security questions" there. It's an automatic habit I have.

So, no.

I'm wondering if by the end of this week, this part of the quote may not be a little prophetic for me.

fingers crossed for you Catt.

(i have a year to get funding or i'm gone...or depending on what day and who is talking to my department chair, I'll get a title change-promotion and shouldn't worry, but have a year to get funding)

oh no. THAT is going to be fun to get straightened out.

(test questions rewritten. Is it still time to go to work if i've already started working before i go?)

You know what????... I'll bet anything it's the creepy stalker who did the Post-It note!!!

now THAT would be a dedicated stalker. maybe he/she will do all the work and get you a really good, affordable plan? (or did a really bizarre form of optimism just kick in right there? )

Updated: Tuesday, October 1 2013, 12:01 PM EDT Buffalo, N.Y. (AP) - Computer glitches have hit New York's new website for state residents to shop for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act. People visiting the NY State of Health website after its launch at 8 a.m. Tuesday were greeted with error messages when clicking on links to register as individuals or families. The links for employers, employees and brokers also experienced periodic problems. A spokesman for the Department of Health blames the problems on the 2 million visits to the website in the first 90 minutes after its launch. He says the agency's technicians are working to fix the problem. New York expects to enroll 1.1 million uninsured over the next three years.
