No iPad, iPod. :)

Desktop broke down more than a year ago (don't remember when). So started using the net book the wife had bought me; you know, just until I got around to getting another puter. Then thought, I'll keep using the net book cause I can lay in bed in the evenings and use it :D.
Well, a short while ago the #2 key started sticking "Hi ever2222222222ybod22222222y"

Gonna have to get my azz moving and get a new puter soon ;)

Must admit, my non-expertise rose up on my '500C decomp temp' comment in that other thread. At work on a previous project we had been heating samples in the furnace (max temp of furnace 1100 C) and the boss said we had to go to a minimum of 500C to break down any residual organics. Did some searching on thermal decomp of PG/VG but didn't find anything definitive (yet). However I do stand behind my assertion that gases/vapors are quite capable of being analyzed by GC

And must say, quite glad he doesn't teach HS Chem :D

Here
Welcome MadOzodi

Basically, this is now a chat thread. The old ones can be found and links followed. There is a link in the 1st post in this thread. And it may go a few threads back to the original if you follow backward.

It was started to monitor threads that weren't getting replies. That was the "old days" when there were fewer members and less activity. We'd monitor the forum and watch threads so people didn't feel ignored or left out.

These slow threads where known as "snails".

Now it's mostly open chat.

Ooohhh, that's why it's called Snails. I honestly thought it was for old people. Since old people are slow and snail-like and take a long time to read and get back to things. And although I'm not all that old, yet, I definitely possess those snaily qualities, which was why I felt I could slime my way into here occasionally. This led me to being surprised when I would see you all posting all the time and there being so much action on this thread on a daily basis. So then I thought it was a bunch of those senior citizens who are featured on arthritis and bladder control commercials, all happy and athletic.

Hi skorp..
Hi Frannie
skorp's been hanging out on the bottom for ages! he must have gone to sleep!

it's time, frannie

goodnight and sweet dreams!

Between my phone, my tablet, my work computer, and my laptop, something is logged on somewhere. Don't know which, been popping in and out through out the day on the various devices.
