i should get the official results of spark's ct scan today or tomorrow. unofficially, the results are mixed.
good news - there is no sign whatsoever that any of the multiple tumors are spreading inwards where they might damage his organs. the large ping-pong ball sized tumor next to his left leg, which has been growing at a steady pace, should present no problem in removing with enough skin available to close the wound. unfortunately this was done about 2 yrs ago and the tumor regrew. there's a good possibility the same thing will happen again.
unfortunately, all the smaller tumors and xanthomas covering his belly and backside are so vascular removal is not possible .....
diet seems to have no effect on reducing or slowing down the growths. it might be genetic or damage done in his earlier years; he was in foster care for 2 yrs, where no adopters could be found because of this until we came along, and now 3 yrs with us.
