Great... husbear's 2013 "big ticket" gift is "out for delivery"... and he's off work today, unannounced.

See how I get stymied at every turn??? EVERYTHING gets :censored:ed up.

I swear to God... they better have put it in a plain brown box.

It's only 35 degrees, so I will NOT just busy myself out in the yard awaiting its arrival.

I sincerely canNOT stand it.

Latest Event: Henrietta NY
Out for delivery - December 6, 2013 2:30:00 AM

No liable plan here Bear. We'll pay the fine.

You can't be "creative" with your MAGI and get cost-sharing reduction??? I say do whatever you can to screw the system. Or... just LIE about your projected 2014 MAGI... get the cheapest plan with $0 deductible... then pay at tax time 2015. It will be cheaper than buying a plan with less coverage (plus, you'll actually HAVE coverage). There are a number of ways to :censored: Obama and all his impotent minions. It's too bad they did not have the :censored:ing BRAINS to figure that out ahead of time.

FBI/IRS visit scheduled for SilverBear. Be home at 1:00 pm......
;)

They know where I live.

The tree is up and house is fairly in order.

I welcome them.

PS Atty: I'm not doing ANYTHING illegal. And neither would Fran if they lied about MAGI. Get the very best plan and just pay the difference at tax time. SHE and hubs get coverage... and the gubmint gets their money. What's the problem???

NH (choosing Manchester county just as an example) with $16K MAGI gives $9384 subsidy (2 50-year olds, non-tobacco).

Hmmm... no Medicaid expansion AND there is a tobacco-use question.

And... I do not see any $0-deductible plans. All fairly high. And high out-of-pocket limits. Lousy co-pays.

How far are you from Montreal, Fran???

It appears that NH is a state where age and tobacco use come into play (or at least in that particular county).

In NY, it varies by county... so not saying all of NH is the same.

Where I live, everybody's just put into a "pool"... no age bias or tobacco discrimination (caveat: for 2014).

It's all bull:censored:, Fran. But my (humble) advice still stands. "Going without" is a high risk.
