In 2007, I did noon-hour volunteering at the city pound (which is right across the street from Kodak headquarters) socializing with the cats. That's how T'Mato ended up at the house. I spent time with him for a few days. He contracted "kitty flu" and was to be put down. So, I brought him home and was welcomed with an $805 vet bill five days later.
I could tell the tale of WHY I stopped volunteering... but it just riles me up.

Ummmm... it should be in the aquarium. Unless it climbed up on the power head and then out of the tank. In which case, I'm not so sure I WANT to find it... now. They will dry out and die in 20 minutes.
