The operator must become one with the Provari to appreciate the difference. That's what Tibby told me.:D

As far as not being 'in tune,' that's a personal problem and I'm not getting involved.

Aw c'mon Pepper ... you are usually so helpful!!!

on the bright side (no pun intended) only 10 more days till the days start getting incrementally longer again.

 for winter solstice.
There's meteor showers too, but it's so cloudy everywhere I haven't mention (or seen) them.

Also, reminder: it's "Patch Tuesday" for Windows users.

Hi all.

Depressing life update: Cousin "wheels" is getting more amputation. The first one wasn't enough. Didn't heal. Sad.

i'm sorry, atty - that has to be tough :(

A lot tougher for him than me! It's just so sad.

Same guy I keep trying to get to quit smoking so he can heal.
His doc said "No nic"I think...so even e-cigs are a "no"....vascular constrictor I guess.
He's supposedly quit now.

So he still buys snacks and gains weight since he can't be as active. Diet coke. His sister gives him crap about diet coke having chemicals. I say if he can drink it, let him! Let him have something!

So now he has me taking him to the doctor and then will probably ask about going to the store...and will buy snacks. IDK. The whole vicious cycle is nasty. Many diabetics (both types) are hungry all the time...their bodies don't get the nutrients even though their blood sugar is high. So they eat more. :( And excess body fat increase blood sugar or something. The whole thing is sad.

And the worst part is that type II is becoming such a problem nationally. High calorie foods in restaurants. And large portions. Going to have to look into it more for myself and for mom too. And get her to her doctor as her blood sugar has been a little bit up. But she's snacking too much (because of diabetic hunger). Grrrrrrrr. She gets more exercise than "cousin wheels". And is fairly thin. So she does pretty good for an over-80 type II diabetic.

Anyway, sorry to unload. It's just nasty to deal with this stuff with all the people you care about. I feel powerless to help even as I help them (driving around and helping with chores and such). Grrrr.

I'm glad your healing is good Tibs. :) Teeth stuff is nasty.

I was actually wondering how it's going with DH's "settings" and how he's doing. It's hard when you can't do anything to deal with the actual "thing" for someone. You can be there. But they have to deal with it, I guess.

I'm lucky that I can help make sure mom gets good meals...and hound her about her snacks. She's sworn off snacks now. lol. We'll see how it trends. People have to make their own decisions. That goes for "cousin wheels" too. He counts carbs though. So if he want's to consume them as snacks.....
