CES I think the strangest thing was years ago when a guy wanted a fancy paint job on his big propane tank.

well .................... that brings us back to an important design principle

if you can't make it blend, turn it into a focal point

I guess it was a blended focal point sort of. He wanted a highly expensive medium green with metal flake. Have to admit it was pretty.......for a propane tank.

That doesn't sound too bad. It'd still be a fairly large job.

I've tried to keep up with this relatively new technology. It's amazing what can be done. Now with the government getting involved trying to regulate it... but it's too late... nothing they can do.

They are only worried about bad uses of the tech (and I guess they should be). The good uses far outweigh the bad. So meh.

3D printers are very cool. I went to a seminar on them not too long ago. They have a 3D printshop at the university, so once i decide what to print and figure out how to pay for it, I could get something printed.
