ETA:
Unfortunate coincidence re: recent topic... not to be taken personally.

I keep clicking on "Yes" but nothing is happening!

Oh, well, just remind me next year ...

Burst water pipe!!! :(

... thankfully not a needed one (to outdoor spigot)
... unthankfully, under the floor of the addition
... unthankfully, lots of stored-away stuff under there
... unknown, how long it was gushing and how much standing water

Husbear did not hear that "water through pipe" sound while he was up earlier. I get out of bed and hear it immediately. So that was about 45 minutes more that it should have run. Fun way to begin the day.

Sigh.

What's next? Boils? Locusts? Pestilence?

Good morning Fran, Tibs, CES, Bear, Snails.

Sorry to hear about that Bear! Yikes!
Maybe...when you have it fixed, you could have them add an air fitting to it (do they do that?) so you can blow the lines clean with a compressor. Otherwise, how do you get all the water out? You know, like sprinklers.... Or add in RV antifreeze somehow (PG 'n stuff)

morning, atty!

there really should be a law against those outrageous temperatures! had some good luck here - pipes thawed without damage in the shop - except for a busted drain - don't ask me how - which flooded the tool room floor when i opened to check all the faucets yesterday. no real damage since that's a concrete floor.

time for joan - laterzzzzzzzzz!
