Narrowly missed being in an accident on the drive home yesterday evening. A van decided to swerve across 3 lanes of traffic to get to the freeway on ramp on the opposite side of the road. A truck coming up on my right swerved in front of me to miss the van, but wasn't able to swerve quite far enough and clipped the van. The van bounced on to the right median and tipped way up onto it's side and back down to 4 tires. Luckily it didn't keep rolling back into traffic, cause then it'd have landed on me. I had a really good view of the bottom of the van. I don't think anyone was hurt. The truck stayed in control and pulled to the side. If the people in the van had their seat belts on they were probably ok. I called 911 (I could see lights flashing by the time the call went through, so the police must have been nearby) and drove very carefully the rest of the way home.
