Years ago there was a contract lab the company was using to analyze samples that were using chart recorders to record the analyses. They would 'adjust' the peak sizes with the gain dial to get the numbers they wanted.

there's one, i can't find it now, about getting the tissue samples from elsewhere, incubating them O/N at 4C, roomate was unnerved. THAT i have done. Nothing like having tissue samples in your home fridge

(reading the tweets is also why it took me 4 hours to make a single figure yesterday afternoon)

one of my other favorite is 'sample of 6 was randomly collected from the half dozen undergrads in the lab'.
