hiya, frannie! just back from town with the groceries still sitting on my counter!

I wonder if they thought they were poor? I have a picture of my mom when she was a child (about the same age as these children) in florida with her siblings and parents... and it looks the same. They used an outhouse for a bathroom, but had roof over their head and food on the table; they never thought they were poor.
