Morning Fran. Glad to see that you finally got some decent weather yesterday

Yep the weather's been very mild for us. Another sunny (partly) day for us today up around 50 and then Wednesday is supposed to be up around 50 with rain. The frost is coming out of the ground again and as of yesterday afternoon our road was getting bad. Another day or 2 and the road will be horrid.

you can't win - tolerable temps lead to mud, but I'd still prefer the tolerable temps.

We were warm yesterday, but cloudy and windy. Rain and an cooler temps today (I think we're at today's high temp) .

Well now that's close to a mile of mud.

but versus a couple feet of snow?

Mud gets deep,ruts form. With all the snow melt it's going to be a real mess.

Do you have to grade your road every spring?

 

[FranC]

Town will do it but there's not much help for it right now.

I suppose you do have to wait til the snow melts, the mud dries and the ruts are fully formed. sigh.

Hubby has a rear bumper cover to paint today and he's gone to Keene to get the paint. I got the woodstove fired up for him in the garage. It's pretty overcast today,just a little sun getting thru.
