Demo of sheetrock is not fun when most of the nails pull thru and you have to go back and pull or unscrew. We have a exposed beam that runs across the middle of the kitchen. Half of the ceiling is down.
The ceiling is down and more of the walls. We're off to Home Depot for boxes and outlets etc.

We had a friend here today helping with demo. He'll be back in the morning to go with hubby back to Home Depot for sheetrock and strapping for the ceiling.

With any luck we'll have the ceiling up tomorrow. Hubby has an early bloodtest then off to get sheetrock.
