Apparently up to 20 watts is generally acceptable - DNA20 from Evolv has a 20 watt capability. I think with the mechs people are just trying to "one up" each other and I can't believe something bad isn't going to happen if it continues. Luckily to get those higher watts, IMR batteries are needed so hopefully it won't be too bad.

You rock CES.

The posts in the health section run the gamut from newbie, to guesswork, to experienced users. Just because someone had "cold like" symptoms from smoking cessation, doesn't mean e-cigs were at fault. Doesn't sound like the authors took any variables/filtering into account! Besides, the section is for reporting questions...how many people NEVER posted there because they didn't have a problem? In other words....frequency of issues is not factored into it. It's like selecting all people that have a problem with a particular medication (say .1 %) and publishing that everyone will have that problem....

A proper study would have some stratification/classification and random samples from a large group, I would think.

There's a local guy who vapes 15+ watts with high VG. Once you get past choking on the impressive vapor, the flavor is surprisingly good. But it's WAY, way more than i need

Catt, want to write a letter? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ecf-postings-health-impacts-e-cigarettes.html

The only vaguely health related issue I can recall posting about (and having) is a loss of being able to taste my vape a few months after starting ;)
Excellent letter CES!

CISPA, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, was passed by the House on April 18 with a majority vote of 288 to 127. The bill will allow corporations to share their users’ personal information with the government without the government needing a warrant beforehand. The bill will kill any privacy contracts that companies have with their users, the same contracts that ensure users that they will not share their personal information with anyone.

Currently, the White House is concerned over CISPA, and may veto it because it invades the privacy of internet users.

Bolding added. IDK why people love those senators and hate the Pres so much. Or maybe they just hate em all. IDK. Let's hope the WH vetoes it.
