well, at least as a table top the laptop will get SOME use.

Little more then that..need to get an external drive and pull off thousands of pics..then reformat the drive...since the only thing i was using it for now is forum hopping...and time for visiting here was about nill for awhile there...kept putting it off
OH, you mean have everything on it copied to an external drive? Like we paid to have done already....
you know, wolfie, if it's just storage you need, why not go with a thumb drive? i got one in the 16 gb size to pull off the boy's wedding pics from my lap top where i expect the hard drive to fail any moment now .....

Well....no....just didn't get the laptop fixed and back to them to be reloaded....
