Morning!
:)
Well, I pulled my back .......:(
But Fido is moving around! :)
Yes CES, that's it.
But since Fido is moving around, IDK if that's REALLY it..... The doc did give him some anti-dizzy drugs. I wonder about infection or an effect from parasite/flea preventative (a week later), or what. He's also on aspirin for arthritis so maybe it built up too much. IDK. Confused. I thought CVD took days to clear up like Tibby said.

He's still not 100% but close. Was able to WALK him outside so he could do his business. :)

I've only had 3 hours good sleep...:(

Thanks all.

Well, IDK what caused it. I will double check the ear cleaning and ease up on the aspirin...

He has no heat tilt. He couldn't move his backside at all and even his front was week. He had eye movement CLOSE UP ONLY up and down, not side-side. Didn't throw up dinner. So...IDK

But Doc said the word "idiopathic"... so who knows. Bunch of $$$ later for exam, shot and talk...and anti-dizzy pills, and we'll see.

When CVD is idiopathic, which means of unknown origin, it begins suddenly and ends suddenly a couple of weeks later. A veterinarian will run routine diagnostic blood and urine tests to be sure that there is no underlying problem, but in most cases, no treatment is needed. Sometimes hand-feeding the dog and encouraging rest will keep it more comfortable until the motion sickness subsides. Idiopathic CVD usually strikes geriatric dogs, and even some cats.

take it day by day, atty! but be forewarned - bucky had it and it did clear up within about 2 weeks but he developed a slew of other problems a few months later :(
