Fence is done. YAY!! i hope it's another 7 years before i have to do it again. (Katya, i was thinking about an iron fence when i got the picket put in, but it was too pricey for me. Jerry, if it wasn't painted it would have fallen apart already- as it is I've reattached almost every picket on the stoopid fence over time).

Hope everyone is enjoying the day. Going out to listen to some friends play music later tonight.

My iron fence came with the house--it's been corroding since the day we moved in, but but because the fence is covered with vines, we never discovered the extent of the damage. It has to go. I'm thinking about putting a vinyl fence--they are ugly, but nothing will touch them. And we can hide it under our jasmines, honeysuckle and bougainvilleas.
