Just a thought, don't know if it's good or bad...depending on where/how it's posted, would it be better to break the sections into separate posts?

If it's incorporated into existing threads as Kat suggests, then it may not be possible. But breaking it into separate posts might decrease the wall o'text effect that could scare people off, and allow people to more easily find the sections they need to focus on. ATM i don't need the VV/VW info, but i might in the future, while others don't use fixed voltage batteries and only need info on VV/VW.

Just food for thought, and nothing that needs a decision before the content is squared away.

My Dad is going to have his entire pacemaker replaced Thursday, with an overnight stay. That's quite a jump from an outpatient "battery replacement".

Now to vent... I told him - no... I wrote it down - to NOT schedule it for June 6th or June 12th due to appointments *I* have. Now look on the calendar and tell me what Thursday is. Sigh.

I hope the pacemaker replacement goes smoothly Bear.

I'm not looking for any particular order. I think it flows well now though.

Since i don't have much to add in the way of actual content, i had to add my :2c: about formatting.

More food for thought- you have a note about multimeters at the bottom. Is it beyond the scope of the post to include not only the makers on the dial, but which setting to use for a particular type of reading? i.e.battery charge vs coil resistance

(I'll step back out of it now, so that the people with the know-how can continue working on the substance)

So Darwin awards for some answers in newbie section again, I suppose.

IDK. I just think that this mech thing is getting out of hand. Either that, or there's a bunch of attorneys or "fanboy groups" posting a lot of loaded questions to get responses. Who knows how many people got their teeth blown out or house/car burned down and are in court due to stupid-PV-syndrome.

On the plus side...it's good that the guy asked.

This is the first time I've had this 'First day of Hurricane season' apply to me. We are trying to figure out what all we need to do/know to be prepared.

We are already stocking up on water and we have to get bags of ice to put in the deep freezer to keep things cold if/when power is lost. We are thinking about getting a generator, the thought of long gas lines are making us second guess getting one. Hubby is looking into getting one that hooks up to natural gas. So much stuff to learn.

"Free" food. Cool! ;)

Yeah, thread has been a-hop'n more lately.

Could be Jerry's fault, he's been thread hopping like crazy. Could be Classy's fault for posting the link to here in another thread ;)
