Hmmm, won't the BANG! scare him? ;)

59? that's closer to chilly than to hot. ick.

Catt, my shoulders get achy when I'm doing to much computer work, but not sitting properly. Check your ergonomics ;)

Lunch time flyby

Ergonomics suck! Just makes me more uncomfortable :D. (Mandatory 'ergonomic audits' every three years or when our 'work environment' changes.)

Why Mars Colonists Will Definitely Go Crazy | Popular Science

phttttbbbbb! Dang, they just need to send me to Mars; sounds pretty much like the past 15-20 yrs of my life - well without the 24/7 TV coverage  Actually 'a few dozen people' sounds like a dozen or two too many to me. :D But then again, I may already be crazy

I read that too Tom.

An interesting thought struck me:
Should they be allowed to go? It's a form of suicide after all, isn't it? Or do they actually expect to live a long time?

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. I know..."rights". But seriously....if you know that A) they'll go crazy and B) you can't help them from here with any problems C) They won't live long D) we won't learn much more than what we can with rovers...

Should we send them off with a big "Hurrah!" to their doom? Isn't that a bit morbid? This isn't a moon walk.

Besides, there's plenty of dust and crazy right here.

If they have a chance of surviving and returning, that's totally different.
