Also, believe it or not, "E-Cigs" are actually very cost efficient. On average, users spend just $10 per week on one "E-Cig, compared to $45 for a regular pack of cigarettes.
[emphasis added by me]

Translation: We need to tax them or else. We're losing money! How are we going to pay for universal preschool????? Those stupid smokers don't want to smoke anymore!!!! Help!!!!

Curious, I think someone was mentioning micro-coils in here (Atty?). I've only read the first couple of posts in the micro-coil threads, so this is probably covered in there somewhere: I use a round toothpick to wrap my coils around for the Kangers. This measures out at around 0.07 inch (1.9 mm). The micro-coils are (from what I gather) wrapped on 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch; 1.6 mm) whatevers. I use 32g nichrome/kanthal and do ~7-8 wraps for ~2.5 ohm. So ... have I been making micro-coils; or are they mega-micro-coils or some such?

Not an expert Catt.

However, the 1/16th thing is correct. The 32 ga...idk if ga matters or not. Usually they are heavier (lower #) ga. But I don't think they HAVE to be.

The other thing is that they do as follows:
They wrap the coil, make it hot...more or less a dry burn, and let off the button and squeeze the coils together until they touch. So with a micro-coil, the coils are tight. They let off the button when they squeeze them together to avoid making shorts while doing it. It basically makes a long narrow "heat tube". I'm betting there's micro-gaps for vapor anyway ;) Otherwise you'd only get vapor out the ends (maybe flowing out due to vaporization pressure).

The thing with them is I fry cotton when I try it...it burns in the center due to the heat. So IDK.....

Some of this is per dusty. See posts here:

ETA: IDK how many loops "qualifies". Probably one of those raging debates.....;)
