Mayo or dressing or marinara sauce...sure.
But I thought Catt was talking about a sausage with peppers and onions on a bun...you know...street food. Like:

Mustard is OK on that, IMHO.

1st off....an Italian Sub sandwich is NOT peppers/onions/sausage. So I went off your phrase with my reply.

2nd off...I'm not going to argue with a German about wurst. However, mustard is the way to go on most sausage sandwiches. Maybe add peppers and onion, but I'm not sure it's even usually Italian sausage....and then we have sweet vs spicy if it is.

sloppy phrasing on my part, atty! ;) how were you to know that sausage, peppers and onions is the embodiment of an italian sub for me? ;) never mind the cold cuts! :D

I have plenty of cream cheese. And lox... Am I too late? :facepalm:
